DIGITAL PRINTING (INSTANT)

Digital Printing is the newest printing process. It includes all processes that use digital imaging to create printed pieces. Desktop printing and publishing use this. The process does not use film. This is the best choice for short-run, fast-turnaround jobs. The printing lead time is usually within minutes.

LITHO-OFFSET PRINTING

Litho-Offset Printing offsets ink from metal plates to a rubber blanket (cylinder) to the paper. Of course before the metal plate is produced, the artwork will be transferred to a CMYK film output before being transferred to the metal plates which usually is usually made from aluminium. This is the most common printing process today; it can be thought of as the workhorse of the industry. Most books, magazines or newspapers are printed using this process. These are for large quantities and longer turn-around time.

Checklist of PDF Files Preparation

  • Convert all of your RGB or Pantone spot images to CMYK.

 

  • Width of bleed shall be minimum 3 mm.

  • ​Embed or create outline all fonts.

  • Artwork should be 300dpi at full size.

 

  • All borders, text and images shall not be close than 5mm to trim.

  • Do not forget bleed and crop marks in your PDF files.

  • Always generate Print Quality PDF files.

  • Do not forget bleed and crop marks in your PDF files if your artwork smaller than A3 and A4.

  • We accept files created in CS6 and below.

  • Pages must be set up to the correct size and with bleed.

  • Ensure you supply all linked image files with your layout application documents.
